Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) is the main airport of Guangzhou and the main hub of China Southern Airlines. It handled 83.58 million passengers in 2025 and ranked 9th in the world by passenger traffic. It currently operates Terminals 2 and 3, with Terminal 3 opened on 30 October 2025, while Terminal 1 has been closed for renovation since 7 May 2026.

Guangzhou South Railway Station, in Shibi, Panyu District, about 17 km south of central Guangzhou, is the city's largest railway station and one of China's four largest railway passenger hubs. It is the interchange and terminus for the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link, Beijing–Guangzhou high-speed railway and Guangzhou–Zhuhai intercity railway, and connects to Guangzhou Metro Lines 2, 7 and 22 and Foshan Metro Line 2.

Guangzhou East (Guangzhoudong) is a major rail and metro interchange in Tianhe District, Guangzhou. It serves Guangzhou–Shenzhen intercity trains, high-speed trains to Hong Kong West Kowloon and other high-speed routes, and Guangzhou Metro Lines 1, 3 and 11 run beneath the station.

Guangzhou Railway Station (广州站) is the city's historic central station at 159 Huanshi West Road in Yuexiu District. It was completed in 1974 and is the interchange for Guangzhou Metro Lines 2 and 5. Since the 26 January 2026 timetable change it has run as a high-speed station and no longer starts or ends conventional trains. Those trains moved to Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station, though a few still stop here on their way through.

Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station is a major national railway hub in Baiyun District, Guangzhou. It opened on 26 December 2023 on the site of the old Tangxi station and is now Guangzhou's main terminal for conventional-speed trains. It also handles Beijing–Guangzhou and Guangzhou–Zhanjiang high-speed services and the Guangzhou–Qingyuan intercity line.
